Where has the year gone? I can’t believe it’s time to welcome in another year. As we look back on the memories we’ve made in 2008 we have to say the lord has been by our side the whole way. We have been so bless the past year thanks to our families and the gospel. Scott and I have been married now for 22 months (almost 2 years) and we both agree this year has brought us more change then the last. We started off 2008 with Scott’s new job with Orem City being a firefighter/paramedic working full time. What a blessing that was for us! Scott has completed his probationary year and is looking forward to the rest of his career. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful healthy husband who is able to support us through his work, especially with the crazy economy down fall. He is also working part-time as a real estate agent. In March we celebrated our 1 year anniversary and I started aesthetician school. We were pretty busy with our schedules, Scott working full time and I was going to school in American Fork full time and working part time at the Dermatology Center in Orem. With the crazy up’s and down’s of the economy we decided to put our condo in Provo up for sale and build our first home in Spanish Fork. The decision was scary but we knew it was the right choice for us. For months we had people interested and we had a family come down to the wire with the sale, but than bailed out at the last minute. Our new home was already under construction so we needed to find a buyer fast. Once again the lord blessed us and we found a buyer the next week and closed on the condo a couple weeks later. Mean while we had a dog named Hank, a black lab, but had to give him away to Jeff (Scott’s brother) 1 month later since we were moving which was hard for us but him and Jeff have become best friends. Since our home in Spanish Fork was still in the building process, my parents were so kind to let us stay with them for 3 months until our home was finished. Thanks mom and dad for coming to our rescue! In September we moved into our Spanish Fork home and we are so happy to be living here, close to both of our families. In November I finished school and am now a licensed esthetician. We got a 2nd dog and her name is Lexie, she is a shia-poo. She is so much fun and makes us laugh all the time. Our families have expanded a lot this year. With a wedding and 4 beautiful babies that were born. My brother Drew married his sweet wife Barbara in April. Scott’s sister Holly and Andy welcomed Will in May. In September Scott’s sister Jen and Matt gave birth to Mallory and my sister Jen and Kyler gave birth to Sadie in October. Last but not least my brother Weston and his wife Becky just gave birth to a baby boy named Holland. Scott’s grandma Irene Beardall passed away in November; we will miss her dearly and will always have her in our hearts. We have been so blessed this year and can’t wait to see what this next year will bring. Thank you all for your love and support through our amazing year.
